DrumPhase: Founder of DrumPhase Music Academy Who is DrumPhase? Akinboyede Lawanson is the founder of "DrumPhase Music Academy". He started music at the age of 9, as a drummer in a church in Ilesa, Osun State. By age 15 he was already one of the best drummers in the state. He played the bass guitar too, played the piano and guitar a little, then keyboard a lil bit more. He became a music instructor in most of the top modern gospel bands in town, he is really a music guru. He took a step further to learn music production due to his ultimate love, passion, and talent for music. He opened his first commercial studio in Ilesa as a music producer in the year 2001. He got his craft right, so he had so many artists and clients, some were even coming into Ilesa from Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo, and more.
